INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE UNITS (IQAU)
It is expected to establish Internal Quality Assurance Units (IQAU) in each ATI as a measure to ensure the sustenance of quality.
THE OBJECTIVE OF THE IQAU:
The primary objective of establishing the IQAU is to ensure continuous improvement the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
The Functions of the IQAU:
Acting as a nodal centre of the ATI for quality assurance activities
Ensuring the preparation of self evaluation reports for external quality assessments and submitting them to the Quality Assurance ad Accreditation Council to conduct external quality assessments
Ensuring that external quality assessments are carried out from time to time
Facilitating the conduction of external quality assessments
Recording and monitoring quality measures of the ATI
Arrange for feedback responses from students, staff, alumni, potential employers and other stakeholders for quality–related institutional processes
Retrieval of Information on various best practices followed by other Institutions and taking action to implement them in the Institution
Development and application of innovative practices leading to quality enhancement
Organization of workshops and seminars on themes related to quality assurance

Ensuring efficient performance of academic, administrative and financial tasks
Integrating modern methods of teaching, learning and assessment
Ensuring the adequacy, functioning and maintenance of support structures and services
