English and IT training course for new entrants
to Sri Lanka universities

The advisor to the Hon Minister of Higher Education, Dr. (Mrs) Yasantha Mapatuna said that the three-month training course on the development of English and Information Technology skills for the next batch of new university students will begin on July 11 2011.

The students who participated in the leadership and positive thinking training programme will be called for this three-month training, the official said.

The students will be assigned the training center closest to their home. The course on the development of English and Information Technology skills will be held until September 30.
